Still Feeling a Chill!

Posted by Boundary Community Launderette on 06/12/2010

The snow may have gone but after the brief thaw at the weekend we’re back into the chilly zone. If you were caught on the hop and haven’t managed to sort out your warm woollies and thermal what-nots, not to mention duvets and blankets, don’t delay any longer! Think how warm and snug you’ll feel, and all the more so if you get everything freshened up at your friendly local launderette. (Failing that, give us a try!)

Thanks to those of you who took time to suggest charities and good causes to donate to, with funds raised from the bookstall. The good news is that we now have a total of £80 to donate, so we’ll be making 4 donations of £20 this month. As we’ve said before, we’ll donate to the Crisis at Christmas appeal, Shoreditch Youth Football Team and now, thanks to your generosity, two other charities. We’ll let you know within the next week which of your suggestions will get the donations.

You’ve probably noticed, as we have, that Christmas isn’t too far away so we’ve posted our Christmas and New Year holiday opening hours and closure details on the web today. We hope this will help you plan out your run up to the holidays, which are longer than usual this year. https://boundarylaunderette.wordpress.com/about-us-christmas-new-year-opening-2010-11/
