Back to the Grindstone… For Some!

Posted by Boundary Community Launderette on 31/05/2011

We hope you enjoyed the bank holiday weekend, and although most of us are heading back to the grindstone it is School half-term this week. There are loads of free activities locally for children of all ages this week.  Museums, the city farms and Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park all have something to entertain those lucky enough to be off school, and don’t forget that if you’re members of the Tower Hamlets Libraries and live in the borough you can get into the Tower of London for just £1 each! Check out the ‘Local Places and Events’ links on the right of this page to browse for things to do. (Of course you don’t have to be on half-term break or a school pupil to check the links or take advantage of local places to visit!)

There was a nice article in the Guardian on Monday 30th May about the Boundary Estate, and council housing in general, which was written in response to Arnold Day on Arnold Circus. If you didn’t see it, click on this link to have a look.
